Entrepreneurial Marketing

when 9 July 2012 - 20 July 2012
duration 2 weeks
credits 4 ECTS
fee EUR 900

If you ask an entrepreneur what skills or knowledge have to be developed in their company, most entrepreneurs will answer “marketing”. However most marketing courses focus on the larger firms and the marketing strategies seem not to be applicable to smaller entrepreneurial firms with smaller budgets.

The main theme during the course will be how small and medium sized firms (SME’s) can create competitive advantage with the limited marketing resources they posess.

Course leader

drs. P.O. van der Meer

Target group

All students interested in developing small and medium sized ventures, either with or without a profit motive. Previous knowledge of marketing is not required, an interest in selling your ideas is.

Course aim

The course aims to create awareness that the marketing done by SME’s is different compared to the marketing done in large firms. At the end of the course the students will have experienced some of these differences and have some tools to market small and medium sized ventures.
