Identity & Sensual Awareness

when 7 August 2016 - 19 August 2016
language English
duration 2 weeks
credits 3 ECTS
fee EUR 600

We will develop „sensual spaces“ with abstract models and a variety of drawings techniques in the first part of the course. Our aim is to utilize those to design in 1:1 in the second part. Locating urban voids and left-over spaces in Weimar, our spatial interventions shall raise awareness of the beauty and poetry of those places found.

Interventions can range from guerilla gardening to urban furniture, in- or uninhabitable structures. By starting with an abstract, rather artistic approach, we hope to develop a new architectural design method and urban language.
