English for Academic Purposes
This two-week course hosted at the Centre for International Training and Education is designed for experienced English teachers who wish to learn more about the special features of English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
It is a unique opportunity to grasp the fundamentals of EAP in action in one of the UK’s leading EAP teaching centres.

Target group
Participants should have a minimum of one year’s teaching experience and an English level equivalent to IELTS 6.5. Please contact us if you are unsure of your level or have not taken an English test recently.
Participants should ordinarily already be teaching in an EAP context.
Course aim
• To raise awareness of theoretical and practical issues underlying EAP course design and methodology
• To introduce a range of practical classroom applications
• To promote self-awareness and self-directed teacher development
• To give insight into the areas of EAP contexts, methodology and students

This is a non-credit bearing course.

GBP 1500: Payment is required in full to accept a place on the course.
