Data Science and Machine Learning in Radiotherapy

blended course

This summer school is a hybrid event and is subdivided into an online phase and a hybrid phase (attendance phase or live online phase). Participants can decide to follow the course online and on site or 100% virtually. The online phase with pre-recorded lectures introduces the basics in machine learning, The live online and attendance phases will then expose how machine learning may interfere radiotherapy workflows in detail.

Target group

National and international PhD/MD, MSc or BSc students as well as young scientists and clinical trainees with a background in Physics, Medical Physics, Medical Engineering, Radiation Therapy or Radiology or similar.

Credits info

4 EC
Once successfully completed, participants will get a certificate of attendance including supplement with 4 ECTS points, issued by the German Cancer Research Center and our partners. There will be two mandatory tests (for the online phase and for attendance phase or live online phase).

Fee info

EUR 75: Fee for Master's & Bachelor's students who attend online and on-site: 75€. PhD/MD students and young scientists/clinical trainees pay 125€.
EUR 60: Fee for only online attendance.
