Attend a two week intensive summer school at the UK's premier destination for sport and learn about how the world of sport interacts with the world of business. Loughborough University has a very strong heritage of both sports and business and you can study sports management in the international environment. Learn in small classes from experts in these areas; enjoy Loughborough’s first class sporting facilities and visit companies and organisations connected to the world of sport. Past visits to companies and organisations have included a visit to Manchester City Football Ground, Speedo Headquarters and Silverstone Racing Ground, home of British Motorsport. Our summer school also includes a weekend trip to London which includes a tour of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The Summer School is open to all international undergraduates and postgraduate students. We expect the course to be particularly attractive to current business or sports students who are interested in pursuing a career in international sports management, or in a sport-related social enterprise.
The aim of the course is to offer the opportunity for students around the world to student at the UK’s premier university for sport and experience the world leading standards of Loughborough University, including the first rate sporting facilities. The programme is designed to deliver an excellent but intense study programme while combining exciting excursions to the UK’s leading sports venues.

GBP 2300: The fee includes tuition fees, half board accommodation in student residences, lunch on teaching days, some social events, welcome and farewell parties and all programme field trips, including a weekend away in London.
We have a number of competitive scholarships available, worth £500 each. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of your personal statement, your academic record and your references.
