Computational Engineering and Technical Physics: Automatic Traffic Surveillance
The course includes topics on:
‐ Camera calibration
‐ Processing video sequences
‐ Feature extraction, detection, recognition of vehicles.
‐ Re-identification of vehicles, general traffic analysis.
‐ Utilising data in traffic datasets
The course is proposed to be suitable also for doctoral studies.

After fulfilling all requirements of this course, the student will:
‐ know the typical challenges and research questions in the
‐ know the traffic surveillance datasets and will be able to
utilise the contents of the datasets
‐ be able to propose and implement solutions for traffic
‐ understand the problems and available solutions to
surveillance camera calibration
