Our intensive language training programme is an effective method to learn English in small groups. Courses will be taught by native-speaking instructors from Great Britain, USA, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Regardless of whether you are an intermediate or advanced student, or whether you would like to sign up for 50 hours in two weeks or 100 hours in four weeks: We have the right course for you! The programme is the perfect way to prepare for a degree programme or internship abroad.

Please note that we do not offer English courses for beginners (A1/A2).

Target group

Our foreign language courses are designed for (prospective) students and graduates from Germany with the minimum age of 18 who seek an authentic experience and real immersion into a foreign language. Most participants who join the courses are 20 to 30 years of age.

The levels are oriented to the European Language Levels (self assessment grid).
English language courses are offered starting at B1.

Course aim

The goal of these language courses is to help you improve your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills, and learn, practice and expand your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar and phonetics. The courses strongly emphasise active communication in the foreign language. The instructors will also give presentations about various foreign countries, their people and cultures. And of course we want to hear about your personal goals and interests for the course.

Credits info

6 EC
After successful completion of the language course you will receive a certificate of participation. It will show the course title, the date and duration of the course, the number of contact hours as well as the main contents and topics.

Participants earn:

- 3 credit points (ECTS) after completion of the two-week course (50 h) or
- 6 credit points (ECTS) after completion of the four-week course (100 h).

It is necessary to attend at least 80% of the course lessons to receive credit points.

If you do an extra work for example a presentation, a paper, etc. you can get a grade. Please talk to your teacher at the beginning of the course.

EUR 390: The course fee for the two-week course is 390,-€. Students and alumni pay the reduced fee of 290,-€.
EUR 490: The course fee for the four-week course is 490,-€. Students and alumni pay the reduced fee of 390,-€.
