This year, Association of Automation and Robotics (http://www.f-ar.at/) in cooperation with university of applied science, FH CAMPUS 02 (http://www.campus02.at/) and Centauro LtD (http://www.centauro.at/) organize a Robotics Summer School and would like to invite all who are interested in robotics and want to spend one exciting week in Vienna with people from all over the world.

Course aim

The goal of the course is to provide participants with hands-on laboratory experience, programming and offline simulation skills and to give them an introduction to novel technologies and trends in the area of industrial robotics. This hands-on programme provides participants with the opportunity of practical work with industrial robots (from market leaders such as ABB, Epson, FANUC,...) in small, collaborative teams with a teacher. Within programming and offline simulation sessions students will gain skills in simulators, such as DELMIA, ABB RobotStudio, Epson RC+, FANUC ROBOGUIDE,...

The Robotics Summer School includes five-days of workshops, lectures and an excursion to an automation company.

In addition to workshops of the Robotics Summer School an exciting social programme in Vienna can be provided on demand.

Credits info

At the end of the course the participants will get a certificate for participation and great effort in gaining new robotic skills.

Fee info

EUR 1000: Depending on the date of application, the amount of the fee* is variable:
EUR 1,000 until 15 March, 2015;
EUR 1,200 until 15 May, 2015;
EUR 1,400 until 15 June, 2015.

The event fee covers:
Hands-on sessions and lectures;
Food during the workshop: lunch, coffee & snacks;
Transportation during your stay: public transport (8 day travel card for Vienna);
Documentation: hard copy instructions;
One excursion to an automotive company in Austria: transportation & lunch.

*The fee reduction is possible by groups with more than 6 participants.
EUR 200: On demand, an additional social programme can be provided. The fee for the additional social programme is EUR 200 and covers:
Vienna city guided tour (28 August, 2015);
Gala dinner with representatives of different Austrian automation companies (28 August, 2015);
Schönbrunn Palace guided tour (29 August, 2015);
Brunch with representatives of companies from robotics sector (29 August, 2015);
Vienna Technical Museum guided tour (29 August, 2015).
