Discover Budapest through an artist's eye! The Budapest Cityscape workshop is a week long programme focusing on the connection between art and the city. Participants can chose between two tracks to creatively analyse the city, painting or photography. You will tour the city, discover hidden sites and magnificent views, paint and sculpt inside and outside the studio, reworking your impressions of the city into your own subjective artworks.

Course leader

Our teachers are experienced and successful artists in the field of painting, drawing, sculpture and design. Our instructors for this course are Csaba Kis Róka - painter, László Győrffy - painter, Noémi Mónus - architect, Szilvia Mucsy - photographer

Course aim

Our goal is to help you find a way to re-interpret your impressions of the city in your unique way. Parallel to practical work and learning new skills participants will also visit studios of professional artists and contemporary urban and underground gallery spaces.

Fee info

EUR 520: For the following fees, we provide accommodation, including breakfast for the whole week of the course.
2 bed shared room with private bathroom: 520 €
4 bed shared room with private bathroom: 500 €
6 bed shared room with private bathroom: 480 €
The fee covers the following: teachers' fees, program fee, material costs, entrance fees, welcome drinks and dinner on the first day, visits to artist studios, ​costs of the final wine tasting dinner on the last day, public transportation tickets and other local travel costs
EUR 390: The fee covers the following: teachers' fees, program fee, material costs, entrance fees, welcome drinks and dinner on the first day, visits to artist studios, ​costs of the final wine tasting dinner on the last day, public transportation tickets and other local travel costs. You will have to provide your own accommodation.
