English Plus British Fashion
During the mornings you will spend time with an English language tutor building your skills and confidence in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
In the afternoons the course will introduce you to the world of fashion today and show how designers find inspiration. Practical fashion studio activities will be supported by visits to places of interest to local fashion designers, including Paul Smith's flagship store. Nottingham’s exciting streets, shops, galleries, museums, architecture and unique fashion and textile history will inspire you and help you generate new concepts.
Tutors are drawn from the fashion department and Language Centre at Nottingham Trent University.
This course is ideal for anyone who has attended English language lessons at an introductory level. You do not need to have any fashion experience.
By the end of the course you will have learnt how to express your fashion ideas and communicate your work to others with confidence.
Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate of attendance. If you wish to receive credit you will need to arrange this with your faculty at home before you attend.
GBP 1420: The fee includes tuition, most materials and course-related travel as well as accommodation on campus.
