The Summer School is aimed at those who have an interest in architecture and design, wishing to explore specialist areas. This opportunity will see you become part of a creative community that comprises of well-respected researchers, highly skilled architects, engineers and design professionals. The Summer School programme will be delivered by Kent’s leading academics and professionals from the School of Architecture; comprising of presentations, design workshops, lectures and site visits.

Course aim

By the end of this International Summer School course, you should have:
•developed a good understanding of the subject matter which forms the focus of this intensive introductory course
•explored a series of key subject-specific themes and media from a range of critical perspectives
•had the opportunity to put into practice new subject-related skills which you have started to develop during the course
•gained an awareness of the UK Higher Education system in the subject specific context
