Setting up a new business is not an easy task. You often have to deal with lack of finance, perhaps insufficient experience and many other issues. You have to decide how to design your product, how to differentiate your company from the competitors, and how to work with employees. Therefore if you consider opening a new business, or you study business at a university, you will surely find this course more than useful and practical.

Course aim

Instead of going back to standard case studies from Microsoft and GE, this course looks at various small businesses in large and small markets in order to uncover the fundamentals that every entrepreneur or small business owner needs to know.

Through examinations of key strategic decisions taken at a number of real, successful small businesses, the learners will be creating a solid foundation for further studies in business, or will be able to apply these insights directly to their own budding business ventures.

You will receive an official Certificate of Attendance upon completion of your course which you may use to show evidence of the skills you have learnt during the course and have the credits accepted by your home university.

Fee info

EUR 725: All courses take place in a new building of French Institute right in the center of Prague.
EUR 182: Accommodation fee for a 14night stay at Botic Student House starts at 13EUR/night.

Everyday afternoon or evening activities organized - sports, weekend trips, city tours, sightseeings, parties etc.
