The workshop provides artists and creative thinkers access to the most relevant fundraising concepts and strategies. It includes concrete examples of modern fundraising practice, case studies and exercises.

The workshop shows that financing an art project can be considered a creative process which can be full of moving ideas and which is always connected to the nucleus of the art project. Working on fundraising strategies help to sharpen the impact and visibility of an art project.

The workshop offers important insights into today's best fundraising strategies for arts and cultural organizations of all sizes and an in-depth examination of corporate sponsorships, as well as helpful examples. In addition it presents basic fundraising principles and covers the fundamentals of strategic management. It provides tools and techniques to create tailored fundraising concepts and financing schemes, using national and international sources. The teaching of theoretical knowledge is supplemented by presentations of practical examples and vitits to Berlin’s cultural institutions.
