ELSA Brno is proud and happy to invite you to the third edition of our Summer Law School. We will again focus on the ever developing field of IT Law which is nowadays growing both in demand and significance.

After the successful previous editions, we have even more spirit, motivation and enthusiasm to prepare an unforgettable week in Brno for you which will hopefully give you a significant boost in your legal knowledge and skills,
a bunch of extraordinary friends from all over the Europe and a decent taste of ELSA spirit(s).

Target group

Students of law with at least one course on IT Law successfully completed.

Course aim

The main goal of the project is to acquaint participating law students with IT Law taking growing number of litigations concerning the subject and general trend of increasing demand for IT legal services into account. Moreover, we intend according to ELSA vision to foster mutual international discovering of different cultures with reference to cultural diversity of European nations.
We intend to focus the Summer Law School on some specific questions or issues and pay attention to them, both in theoretical and practical point of view. We aim to familiarize the participants with the subject and want them to be able to use it in practice and to imagine it in real life and to debate controversy aspects of the subject.

Our Summer school is going to consist of 5 academic blocks:

Web Privacy
IP on the internet

Fee info

EUR 300: EUR 300: Final application deadline is April 1, 2016
Basic Fee includes accommodation, food, materials, transport during the week, social program.

Extra fees:
1. Gala-Ball/Gala-Reception - €35
2. Transfer to/from the Airport/Train-station/bus-station - €10
3. Extra nights - €40
