This course will introduce you to a range of management disciplines and related skills such as marketing, finance, operations and people management, allowing you to use the knowledge gained to begin to formulate your own business strategies. Our proximity to the City of London and financial centre, ensures that you are right on the edge of the thriving business community, and course activities, guest speakers and an excursion will broaden your understanding of how businesses compete in today's global marketplace.

Target group

The King's College London Pre-University Summer School is open to high-achieving students who are about to start or who are enrolled in their final two years of high school, and are typically aged 16 and 17. Students must be aged 16 as of 1 September 2022.

Course aim

By the end of the module, you should have:

experienced a variety of learning activities typical of a first year undergraduate degree in Business Management
built on your existing knowledge of core topics covered in a first year undergraduate degree in Business Management
carried out independent research on a given topic and produced a structured and well supported response to an assignment brief
worked collaboratively in diverse groups to produce a presentation

GBP : Our Pre-University Summer School is designed as residential experience, with students living in King’s College London accommodation throughout the course. Students on the residential summer school can check into accommodation one day prior to the start date (Sunday) and will check out on the final day (Friday).
