Week 1
Polymer Engineering
Polymer Engineering implies the development and innovation of efficient polymeric products. Key aspects to achieve this aim are advanced knowledge about polymers, identification of trends and sustainability. This course focuses on giving you an insight on polymers and polymer industry, current topics concerning renewable energy technologies and future trends for polymers. Furthermore the course includes an industrytour, where you can experience modern processing technics, as well as two practical courses, in which you will fabricate your own polymeric parts.

Week 2
Energy Conversion and Storage
This course is dedicated to important aspects of energy: its efficient conversion, for example from heat to electricity, and its storage to retain energy in periods of abundance for periods of increased demand. Fundamentals, challenges and modern technical solutions are comprehensibly presented by renowned experts.
