Probabilistic Online Panel Management
High cost of traditional data collection methods such as face to face and telephone interviews, declining response rates and increasing Internet penetration have made online panels an appealing way to collect survey data.
The course will introduce concepts and applications of online panel research and the most important challenges we face when building a probabilistic online panel representative of the general population. Emphasis will be laid on recruitment methods and maintenance of online panels, response rates, attrition, representativeness and online panel data quality.
Students, researchers, business professionals who need to develop good quality surveys and/or need to apply appropriate and up-to-date statistical methods. At the conclusion of the Summer School, participants will receive a certificate for each course and with the number of hours attended.
