The course combines the theoretical background of project management based on Project Management Institute© (PMI) global standards with thorough application-based practical components.

The schedule of the summer school inculdes
- high level teaching in project management by several experts including the work on a real case-study driven by an external sponsor
- several get-togethers in different venues like the beautiful Marina Mücheln near Merseburg
- two excursions to Porsche Facility in Leipzig and a city trip to world-famous Leipzig city centre including a tourist round-trip
- campus-party for meet and great local students

Target group

The learning programme is designed for students from various disciplines whose field of study may see them assuming responsibility for projects one day. The Summer School is targeted at students from bachelor’s and master’s programmes or from early career project workers/project managers who are eager to learn in an open and interdisciplinary environment. Previous project management skills are not required.

Course aim

Goal of the International Summer School on Project Management is to deliver a comprehensive learning programme which provides you with extensive project management skills.

Fee info

EUR 1299: The prizing for all services including:
- high-level project management teaching program including a certificate of participation
- during the teaching phases free coffee and soft drinks, cookies and lunch meal
- hotel including daily breakfirst in two-bed-rooms
- one taxi transfer per day from and back to the hotel from university
- taxi/bus transfers to external venues (Marina Mücheln, Porsche Leipzig, Leipzig City Centre)
- several barbeques as scheduled
- entrance fees to Porsche facility
- tour guide for Leipzig city bus trip

Not included are:
- individual travelling to and from Merseburg
- expenses during free time phases
- additional taxi transfers
- expenses during the Porsche and City trips
