 Introduction to a visualization pipeline.
 Principles of image data processing (filter, crop, sample, etc.).
 Image data segmentation approaches.
 Standard visualization paradigms (Volume Rendering, Isosurfaces).
 Getting knowledge about the opportunities of an integrated operating room.
 Interaction with a networked operating room with integrated workflow management.
 Modelling of medical devices based on the IEEE11073-10207 standard.
 Technological basics of devices in the operating room.
 Various navigation systems in different surgical cases.
 Networking parameters.

Target group

DORS is primarily aimed at graduates, doctoral students, post-docs and senior scientists from research and industry with a multidisciplinary background.

We have applied for CME Credits.

Fee info

EUR 150: Fee for one module (one course).
For M.Sc./ PhD students it is 150 EUR for one course.
EUR 600: Early bird registration is open until 31.05.2017
For M.Sc./ PhD students it is 600 EUR for all courses of the Summer School from 28.08. - 01.09.2017.
Usual fee ist 700 EUR for all courses.
