EUROPA: VISIONE E NECESSITÀ. Come i sogni dei Padri ricadono sui figli,
The Summer school Giornate d'Europa arises in 2011, basing itself on the experience of the Coppet group, and on the founding fathers’ task of the Ventotene Manifesto, the first real document of United Europe. Giornate d’Europa represents a significant opportunity of idea exchange and personal growth for students, young workers, as well as academic and institutional experts. It will take place into the hall of the Palazzo Rinascimentale di Aieta (Calabria, Italy) and will enable participants to be involved in a wide program of teaching and active citizenship activities.
The Summer school Giornate d’Europa consists in lessons, conferences and open debates with institutional, academic and economic players. During these events, students, young graduated and workers will share ideas, thoughts, worries and expectations for the future of European Union.
Course leader
University professor in law, economics, sociology, history, policy and international relation.
Target group
50 young people from 18 to 40 years old, university students, graduetes and phd students.
Course aim
The Giornate d’Europa aims is to train a new generation of Europeans, aware of what Europe represents and of the reasons that led to its creation. It aims to push the new generations to take care of their territory and to improve the relationship between young people and european institutions based on the knowledge
