The Winter School provides you with the most intensive study tour you can get! This study tour takes place above the Arctic Circle covering 3 countries (Norway, Finland, and Sweden) in 8 days under the carpet of Aurora borealis. A phenomenon based learning gives you a holistic insight of the real situation in Arctic region. The course places you in the heart of ongoing fight against climate change. It provides practical examples of Nordic strategies on combating and adapting to climate change. Moreover, it enlightens examples of best practices from Nordic society and economic adaptation which influence on competitiveness and success in changing climatic conditions. Combining innovatively economy and ecology we get much more.

Forests and arctic fragile wilderness are in focus! Numerous experts’ lectures, industrial visits and interaction with authorities take you to the journey of real life solutions.

Hands-on experiences, team work, feasibility tasks and real-life problem solving being the key methods of learning.

Moreover, study tour will teach you survival skills in harsh climate, sustainability skills and challenge you to pass your own "License to live on Planet Earth" –exam!

European Credit Transfer System. Also diploma and bio economy passport is awarded at the successful completion of the course.

Fee info

EUR 1950: Tuition fee that covers three countries travel, study materials, activities like Sauna, Reindeer sledge, ice swimming mentioned in the course program.
