SISM Genoa is Happy to invite you to our brand new course: “Emergency Medicine Simulation Seminary”.
This winter school will be a week long (from 22 to 26 Jan 2018) in our beautiful city: Genoa.

In this course we will be using advanced simulation techniques to present and train you with some simulated situation and sceneries.
We partnered with our University Center for Advanced Simulation in Medicine (SimAV www.simav.unige.it); all the simulation are held by University of Genoa Professors, in English Language.

The course will have a theoretical part and a practical part for every situation, and we will be using microsimulation (by specialized computer software) and macrosimulation (by hand on training in simulated emergency room)
We will present you:
different kind of suturing technique
vein access
intubation
ALS
NGS
Advanced surgical medication
Eco FAST

The last day we will have a module about disaster medicine, held by DisasterSISM Italian Team, trained by CRIMEDIM (International Center of Excellence in Disaster Medicine).

Every participant will receive a Certificate by University of Genoa.

Give a general approach about verious emergency procedures and sceneries, using simulation and software aided learning

Fee info

EUR 350: the participation fee (350€) will cover your stay at AC Hotel 4* near university, public transportation costs, breakfast (Genoa’s “focaccia and cappuccio” original!), social dinners and nightouts.
The first day we organized a welcome party and on the last day there will be a formal closing ceremony (dress code alert!).
