The Gdańsk Summer School of Advanced Science on Algorithms for Discrete Optimization is organized by the Department of Algorithms and System Modeling of the ETI Faculty at the Gdańsk University of Technology.

During 8 days of the school, 6 advanced mini-courses will be delivered by renowned researches from Poland and abroad. Each course will be followed by appropriate exercises. Supporting material for the courses will be provided by the lecturers. Besides the courses and excursions, a poster session is planned.

Course aim

The school aims at providing an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students as well as young researchers to get together and attend advanced courses and talks on current topics in the field of algorithms and data structures for discrete optimization problems. Credits info

5 EC
If you are a European student, you can collect 5 ECTS credits by attending the Summer School, which your home university may choose to accept.
Attendence and active participation in at least 80% of program activites is required in order to obtain the certificate of participation and earn credit for the program.

Fee info

EUR 200: Early registration (deadline March 31, 2018)
200 € or 850 PLN (students also Ph.D. students) and 300 € or 1250 PLN (others)

The registration fee covers: 6 lunches, coffee breaks, course material, excursions, etc.

We offer accommodation for 8 nights (starts Jul 04, 2018) in student dormitory (double rooms) at the price 95 € (400 PLN).

The fee must be paid within 21 days of registration. If after that time the money will not be transferred to our account, the registration will be canceled.
