Archaeological Glass
Participants learn different approaches to artefactsand descriptionmethods for the characterization glass wares in generalwith more attention focused on glass beads. During the lectures and workshops participants willdiscuss technologies ofglasswork, classification, laboratory research and conservation of glass wares. Participants alsolearnto determine chemical composition of archeological glass andinterpret the results; different glasswork production and principles of their application.
Working languages: Russian and English. The programme is delivered in Russian with interpretation and translation to English provided by a certified interpreter.

Target group
This programme is for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, regardless of nationality. Recent graduates up to the age of 35 are also welcome.
