Fashion is a good way to make the future tangible, accessible en seductive for the general public. During this course you work in interdisciplinary groups to create new interactions and design possibilities in fashion. Fashion only becomes fashion when the represented image holds a message of identity, 'nowness' and seduction. Expect from a tangible product you also develop a video representation of that image.

The first few days you’ll get acquainted with fashion design and fashion thinking. Marina Toeters will give an introduction into the future of fashion design. You’’ll also visit the Jan Taminau exhibition at Centraal Museum Utrecht. After these kick off days you'll work during several workshop days at the Design school. During these workshop days you'll visualize your ideas in a tangible manner. Feedback will be given by Marina Toeters, Naomi Jamie (HKU Design alumnus, guest lecturer(s) and your fellow students. At the last day you'll present your ideas by showing your tangible product. Your presentation will be accompanied by a short self made video.
