Creative Intelligence for a Sustainable World

when 12 August 2018 - 21 August 2018
language English
duration 2 weeks
credits 2 ECTS
fee EUR 675

We live in an increasingly complex and globalised world, that faces multiple, connected and wicked challenges – eg. in the skewed distribution of wealth and power, growing ageing populations and the depletion of natural resources. At the same time, current developments in science and technology offer vast arrays of untapped opportunities. To be able to deal with the challenges we face and the opportunities we have, we need new ways of working that will allow us to create both effective and sustainable solutions.
This requires new skills and mind-sets as well as new combinations of skills.

Target group

Course aim

Therefore, in this course we will focus on how to creatively combine and select creative methods, tools and world views from different ‘traditional’ fields of study and explore their combined benefits. We will focus on how multiple disciplines can be used in an integrative way that can lead to successful transdisciplinary innovations.
