After the success of the TUM School of Management’s first International Summer School last year, the program will be offered again this year. The TUM School of Management - consistently top in the rankings of business schools in Germany for its outstanding teaching and research activities - invites you to be part of its 2-weeks International Summer School 2019 - Sustainable Entrepreneurship.

With a unique combination of theoretical and practical inputs, we want to enable you to become a change-maker.

Course aim

Inform – Inspire – Interact!

Inform
Benefit from cutting-edge research at a triple crown accredited university and the rich experience of sustainable entrepreneurs. Get to the theory and practice of founding a new sustainable venture.

Inspire
Spend time and work together with engaged scholars and a diverse group of sustainable entrepreneurs from different fields including food, energy and fashion. Participate in interactive workshops and learn to see societal challenges as entrepreneurial opportunities.

Interact
Collaborate with people from all over the world to generate creative entrepreneurial ideas to tackle the grand societal challenges of the 21st century. Work together in small teams to develop your own business concept.

To apply for our International Summer School 2019, send your CV and a 1-page motivation letter to esther.salvi@tum.de. To benefit from our early bird rate, send in your application by April 1st, 2019 (11:59 UTC+2). No applications can be accepted after May 10th, 2018. Please make sure to indicate your prior experiences in the fields of sustainability and entrepreneurship in your motivation letter.

Fee info

EUR 1990: Early Bird: Until 1st of April

The program fee includes lectures, workshops, excursions, social events, accommodation in the centre of Munich, breakfast, lunch and an extensive cultural program during evenings and weekends including transport and food.
EUR 2200: Workshops, lectures, tour at three TUM campuses, lunch, an extensive cultural program in the evenings and at the weekend. Accommodation is not included, but students can opt to take a shared room (daily breakfast & Wi-Fi included) in a Hotel in the centre of Munich. Additional 27€ – 33€ per night apply, depending on the chosen type of room
