The aim of the International Summer School on Renewable energies is to provide a good overview of the technical, societal and economic issues involved in the development of renewable energies. The participants will work together on energy transition and the deployment of renewable energies in the territories, under the supervision of numerous international experts.

Target group

The summer school is open to THIRD-CYCLE STUDENTS (DOCTORATE OR END OF MASTER) from training courses such as engineering, management, economics, business administration. The school is also open to PROFESSIONALS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN GOVERNMENTAL AND BUSINESS AREA FROM FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES.

Course aim

During the 9 days of the summer school participants will attend conferences-workshops on energy transition (climate, economic and societal issues), renewable energies (from solar to hydroelectricity via biomass and geothermal energy) , management of intermittency (network and storage) as well as management and uses of energy (building, transport and industry). They will also be trained in creativity techniques and entrepreneurship. A large part of the school will be dedicated to project-based learning, during which participants will be responsible for developing an entrepreneurship project that contributes to the local development of ENRs. All activities will be carried out under the supervision, animation and evaluation of French-speaking international experts.

EUR 600: Registration fees include courses, excursions, accomodation (dormitories) and most meals.
