ABOUT THE COURSE
Each year, this program aligns with the Authors’ Reading Month, the largest literary festival in Central Europe. Students will learn about the history, culture and literature of the honored country, this year is Hungary. In the evening’s students attend readings by a different Hungarian Author every night, after which they enjoy private discussions with the authors. During the day the students will learn about Hungarian history, literature and culture from different professors. Trips to Košice, Slovakia, where there is a large Hungarian minority, and Budapest, Hungary will give practical exposure to the classes and readings.

WHY THIS PROGRAMME
Students will not only learn in the classroom, but also travel to Budapest, Hungary and Košice, Slovakia to learn more about Hungarian culture.

Students should budget an additional €400-1000 depending on their spending habits for food in Brno (breakfast, lunch, dinner), weekend trips (lunch and dinner) and fun "optional" activities in Brno, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest (the underground labyrinth in Brno, Budapest baths, bars, etc.)
