On this course you will learn and apply the skills of a modern music producer to create a completed music production.

This practical course will give you the opportunity to learn the skills of a modern music producer, allowing you to create and edit a music production.You will be taught in our industry standard recording studios where you will be introduced to the latest software and hardware used in the current music technology industry.

You will study at Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies in our Creative Quarter Campus and experience cutting-edge facilities and industry standard equipment.

During the course you will gain experience in the following aspects of audio production:

Recording chain
Digital audio workstations
Audio and MIDI sequencing
Composition
Recording technique
Mixing skills


You do not need to have experience of playing a musical instrument to take part.

Target group

You should have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies and, as this is technology/software focused, have a basic understanding of IT.

Course aim

At the end of the course you will produce music compositions that will be hosted on an online platform.

Fee info

GBP 1100: A 10% early-bird discount on this tuition fee is available to students who apply and pay before 31st March 2020.
GBP 350: On-campus accommodation for two-weeks in a single room with ensuite facilities and shared kitchen and living space (price to be confirmed). For off-campus accommodation (10 minute walk) the price is £290 for two-weeks - as above rooms are single, ensuite with shared kitchen and living spaces. Both have 24 hour security.
