Dutch Language Level 1 (A0 → A1-) early August
Would you like to be able to speak Dutch in shops and cafes? Do you enjoy having small conversations with Dutch people at a beginner’s level? Then this Dutch Language Level 1 course is just right for you. During this course, our trainers help you to use your Dutch actively, for example, making an appointment, ordering a drink or giving a suitable reaction. We also pay attention to Dutch customs and habits.The end level of the Dutch Language Level 1 is A1-.

Dutch is a Germanic language that is spoken by approximately 23 million people world-wide. Most of these live in the Netherlands and in Belgium, but Dutch is also spoken in Suriname and on the Dutch Antilles. Dutch language level 1 is designed for beginners and gives you the opportunity to learn the basics of Dutch fast and well.

This course is suitable for beginners, there is no prior knowlegde of Dutch required. Our Dutch courses are predominantly taught in Dutch; however, English will be used as a supporting language. A good command of English is therefore a prerequisite.

Gain basic knowledge of the Dutch language and reach CEF-level A1-. After completing this course:
You can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases.
You will be able to introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live and people you know.
You can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
