duration 2 weeks

Would you like to have your article published in an academic journal? Our Writing for Publication course will help you become aware of your strengths and weaknesses and improve your academic writing skills. In small groups with an experienced teacher you will work on your own completed draft, editing it step by step. By the end of the course, you will know what your text needs to be suitable for publication.

If you pursue an academic career, publishing your work is of great importance. This course will increase your awareness of how to organize and structure an academic paper or article, how to write a coherent text and how to integrate advanced academic vocabulary. Your own written texts will be used as a basis for the writing assignments, and you will receive feedback from both the trainer and the other participants. You’ll also read, analyse and comment on the work of others as peer review is a great way to improve your critical reading and writing skills.

The course focuses on:

- expanding your academic vocabulary;
- improving your academic writing skills;
- revising your knowledge of grammar;
- expressing ideas in an academic format;
- giving advice on submitting your paper.

In the unfortunate event we cannot offer the course on location, a virtual classroom setting will be available for language courses. Check the course description for more information.
