Innovation Through Biomimicry Design
Business and industry are on a journey to become more sustainable. One tool that can be used is biomimicry. Biomimicry is the design of business products, processes, and systems modeled after nature’s wisdom. Biomimicry comes from bios, meaning life, and mimesis, meaning to imitate. Biomimicry is an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates biology and design to solve sustainability challenges.
Biomimicry is a tool used in businesses and organizations as a method to develop innovative and sustainable business models, policies, procedures, practices, supply chains, and products.
