Acquisition of Intercultural Skills in and through Dance/Movement
In the course of increasing migration movements, the importance of intercultural competence acquisition is increasingly coming to the fore. It is therefore all the more important to open up non-verbal communication spaces in order to reduce the power gab expressed via the spoken language.

Target group
FH Münster University of Applied Sciences invites students and non-students with experience in the field of social work, dance, cultural work, or similar. Since the whole summer school is taught in English, a level of B1 is required.
Course aim
The participants develop different dance / movement cultures in their theoretical foundation as well as practical implementation by developing a cross-cultural dance choreography. In addition to dance skills, intercultural competences and integration work will be practiced.
Credits info
6 EC
Participants of the summer school receive a certificate and 6 ECTS. Recognition must be clarified with the home university.
