The course will be divided in two parts, ONLINE and ONSITE.

The five-day ONLINE week (September 6 - September 10) will be a in-depth research, lectures and experts on bio based materials, participatory design, earth 3d printing, bioplastics, bioclimatics, vernacular architecture, automation, handmade crafts.

The five-day ONSITE will take place in Fayoum, Egypt, close to the natural park.
Where together, we will build a 4×4 metre for a mother care in a village called Musa Mizar, with reeds and earth, CEB's and rammed earth.

Course aim

The course will give theoretical and practical experience about sustainable design, vernacular architecture and new bio based materials such as earth and fibers, with lectures and hands on experience.
