Violence Prevention in Schools
Bullying, violence and ostracism are topics that every teacher is confronted with. Teachers are expected to do their best to make schools safe havens. In this course, participants will be introduced to intervention techniques which can help curb aggression. They will also experience novel prevention approaches based on story-telling techniques, which allow learners to solve conflicts in a civilised and playful way. Participants will experience a method of finding their own solutions to bullying and violence, thus enabling them to create a positive atmosphere in their schools.
