undamental disturbances of water and electrolyte balance often result from primary or secondary dysregulation of the renal function. In this course, you will receive a toolbox to understand the most common electrolyte disturbances and gain a comprehensive overview of what happens when the kidney fails. We will analyse the basic renal science to provide sound explanations of the clinical problems of renal failure. Based on selected clinical cases, you will learn to deal with the real-life problems, and this course will provide you with the necessary understanding to approach a rational treatment and diagnostic strategy.
