Creating an Innovative Start-up
In this class, you will create the foundation to launch an innovative product or service. You will work in teams and utilize design thinking (also referred to as human-centered design) processes and tools to build an innovative product or service that meets the needs of your target customers. This will involve understanding your prospective customers, brainstorming ideas for new products or services, building prototypes, sharing them with customers, and refining the product or service based on customer feedback. By building out the product or service in an incremental manner, we can create and refine the business model to maximize the likelihood of success for the product or service. The course will conclude with each team delivering an investor presentation showcasing the potential of their new product or service.
