This comprehensive course is designed for an international group of students, aiming to equip future managers with essential knowledge and skills in cyber security and related risks. The course delves into the multifaceted aspects of cyber security, focusing on its significance in the corporate world. Participants will explore the human factor in cyber security, learn to measure and manage behaviors that compromise corporate resilience, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical case studies, the course prepares students to effectively handle cyber security challenges in their future managerial roles.

Target group

To ensure a smooth and effective learning experience in this course, students are expected to have a foundational understanding of digital tools used in business contexts. A general interest in business operations and strategy will also be beneficial. This course is designed to be accessible to those with a business-oriented background, aiming to integrate cyber security concepts into a broader business management perspective
For non-native speakers of English, B2 (CEFR) or equivalent (TOEFL IBT 72, IELTS 5.0, TOEIC 750) is highly recommended.

Course aim

By the end of the course students are able to identify cyber security threats and has knowledge about risk management: Students will understand the fundamental principles of cyber security within the context of risk management, including the role of cyber security in organizational strategy.
Students also stay informed on emerging cyber security trends: Students will gain insights into the evolving cyber threat landscape, understand the role of AI in cyber security, and prepare strategies to tackle future cyber security challenges.
