Designing mixed reality experiences
In this course you will develop an understanding on how to design and prototype interactive mixed reality experiences for any given target audience and context. Through intense hands-on work you will learn how to rapidly turn concepts and ideas into realtime interactive experiences that can be shared, tested and developed. You will work together in interdisciplinary project groups with the Performance Engine toolset in the dedicated Media and Performance Laboratory (MAPLAB) environment situated at the inspiring historical location Fort Blauwkapel, Utrecht.
Course leader
Joris Weijdom is lecturer in the core team of the training 'Interactive Performance Design' (IPD) at HKU Theatre
Target group
Advanced BA and MA students with an interest in using interactive technology for creating mixed reality experiences in order to communicate ideas, tell stories or train people in any given context.
