This seminar will introduce students to the European market and cultural issues in Europe. It will focus on main trends in European Union, the impacts of EU decisions on the marketing mix, and the social and cultural environment.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
-Become familiar with the marketing environment of the EU
-Effectively market a product in that commercial area
-Write a marketing plan for introducing a new product in Europe
Students will create and present a marketing plan. There will also be a final exam and will be expected to work on documents and cases.
