The Sorbonne Summer University offers 14 cycles - 12 in French and 2 in English - taught by academics from the Sorbonne University.
Cycle 2 retraces the century of the Enlightenment in France and in Europe (circa 1680-1780) highlighting its impact on the 17th and 18th century society. Discover how the Enlightenment gave birth to the concept of public space, profoundly influencing the visual arts, while also spreading new ideas among literature and the theatre.
