The Centre international de formation européenne organizes for the second time a programme in North Macedonia. The programme will take place in OHRID, the most touristic place of North Macedonia, in partnership with St Kliment Ohridski University, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, from September 9 to 15, 2019. CIFE and the locan partner intend to select a group of about 20 participants from North Macedonia and from abroad. The working language is English.
Students enrolled in any University programmes (preferably for 2 years or more) but also young professionals are welcome. The working language is English. Students will have the possibility to acquire 4,5 ECTS academic credits according to the relevant conditions.
Experts from North Macedonia but also from the whole Europe will teach in this program. Classes will deal with specific problems regarding this country. Group activities, debates, visits and excursions also constitute an integral part of the summer school’s programme. After courses, the candidates will have free time enough for their own activities (or to swim in the wonderful Ohrid Lake)
Participants will stay in apartments. There will be 3 or 4 students per apartments shared by candidates of a same sex. Accommodation during the session covers rooms for 6 nights, breakfast and working lunches (except when free time is proposed for excursion or personal visits). Students will be free to choose where they have dinner (at their own expenses) so that they can take profit of the region.

Course aim

The CIFE Summer University is known for its level of excellence, the high level of both academic speakers and practitioners and the active involvement of the participants to all discussions and debates. This outstanding experience will certainly provide the participants with interesting exchange and mutual learning, deep EU expertise and relevant output for their CV.

Fee info

EUR 450: This amount (450 Euros) applies to participants who are able to justify their status as a student and who are not in need of a visa.
The fee includes the accommodation in a student residence or guest house, all workshops, lectures, working-lunch, reception and the farewell meal. It excludes the flight tickets and other expenses of the students.
