Pre-University Law Online Summer School
online course**For ages 16-18**
Examine the foundations of International Law and the key challenges within this discipline. This module has been designed to give you a core understanding of different areas and an insight into studying this subject. The variation of on-demand and live seminars ensure that you will benefit from a number of course activities and research assignments designed to broaden your understanding of the professional practice of Law.
Ideal if you are considering undergraduate study in Law and related subjects, the course will introduce participants to the core aspects of studying Law at this level.
The course consists of approximately 30 contact hours with teaching taking place from Monday to Friday.

Target group
The King's College London Pre-University Summer School is a unique academic and social experience designed for high school students who are enrolled in their final two years of study (typically 16 and 17 years old).
Course aim
By the end of the module, you should have:
experienced a variety of learning activities typical of a first year undergraduate degree in Law
built on your existing knowledge of core topics covered in a first year undergraduate degree in Law
carried out independent research on a given topic and produced a structured and well supported response to an assignment brief
worked collaboratively in diverse groups to produce a presentation
