when 1 August 2016 - 5 August 2016
language Dutch

This workshop will introduce you to the basic techniques of shoe patterns. Participants will be working from a classic template and investigate how to make a range of pattern pieces for several basic shoe styles, including the pump, derby and loafer. There will also be the opportunity to discuss further styles and to develop an individual prototype.

Patterns are usually made by hand but some machines are available for participants with experience in our shoemaking lab.

The workshop is taught by Eva Klabalova, expert shoemaker and a SLEM Master alumni.
