Enabling Technologies for the Internet of Things (IoT) - Electronics and Electromagnetics for Wireless Sensing, Networks and Systems

when 17 July 2017 - 29 July 2017
language English
duration 2 weeks
credits 9 EC
fee EUR 450

Wireless systems and internet technology are becoming pervasive in many applications fields such as logistic (RF identification), vehicle industry (connected cars, ADAS-advanced driver assistance systems, V2V and V2I wireless communications), smart manufacturing (industry 4.0), smart domotics and health&wellness (wireless wearable sensing).
Lessons will be held at the School of Engineering- University of Pisa.
The official language will be English.
In 2016 an e-book with official proceedings, with ISBN, has been published. This will be repeated also in 2017 for the second edition.
At the end of the course a final exam will be done and an official certification will be released to the students.Lessons will be offered with a tentative time schedule of 7.5 hours/day for 10 working days, including a final exam, thus covering at least 2 weeks (half of July).
The summer school will include also this year an IoT Industry Special day with speakers from Industry.

Application Deadline: 03/07/2017
