The International Summer University (ISU) Frankfurt is a unique four-week summer school open to students currently from around the world. Designed for international students and taught entirely in English, our short-term program combines high quality lectures on current financial and political topics, intensive German language courses, and an exciting cultural and social program.

Course leader

Courses are taught by professors from Frankfurt UAS or the Goethe University. Students will also be given guest lectures from experts in the field, for example from the European Central Bank.

Target group

Undergraduate and graduate students studying Business, Economics, or Finance.

Course aim

Students participating in European Banking will enhance their knowledge about major banking and financial topics in a European context.

Courses include: Banking in Europe, Central Banking in the Eurozone, Risk Management in Banks

Credits info

9 EC
The European Banking Module is worth 6 ECTS upon successful completion. German language courses also count for 3 ECTS points. The program is worth a total of 9.0 ECTS points.

Fee info

EUR 1950: Students have until April 14, 2019 to apply for Early Bird tuition (€1950). Tuition includes course fee, accommodation, cultural program, excursions, and reading materials.
EUR 2200: Students have until May 31, 2019 to register for ISU Frankfurt. Program tuition includes course fee, accommodation, cultural program, excursions, and reading materials.
