Textile Archaeology: Dress and Society
The course aims to provide students with basic understanding of ancient textile technology and production. The course focuses on the studies of economic and social aspects of textile use and production. Specific examples of archaeological materials from various cultures of Eastern Europe and Caucasus will be used to illustrate the topics studied.

Target group
This programme is for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, regardless of nationality. Recent graduates up to the age of 35 are also welcome.
Course aim
The course aims to provide students with basic understanding of ancient textile technology and production. The course focuses on the studies of economic and social aspects of textile use and production. Specific examples of archaeological materials from various cultures of Eastern Europe and Caucasus will be used to illustrate the topics studied.
Working languages: Russian and English. The programme is delivered in Russian with interpretation and translation to English provided by a certified interpreter.

The duration of the course is 72 academic hours
