Make your own 3D game level using the latest industry standard software!
This practical course will introduce you to the production processes required in creating a computer game. You will be taken through the games design process using game design techniques, 3D modelling software and computer games engines.

Firstly, you will plan your game and research your ideas to create an original game design.

You will then use the following games technology software and techniques:

Autodesk Suite
3D model creation
Select in-game characters and objects
Adjust colours, sizes, shapes and textures
Unreal Games Engine
Import game assets
Create obstacles
Character movement
Decisions on game environments

You will study at Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies in our Creative Quarter Campus – using industry standard software and cutting-edge facilities.

Target group

You should have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies and, as this is technology/software focused, have a basic understanding of IT.

Course aim

At the end of the course you will have created original game assets that can be used within your portfolio.

Fee info

GBP 1100: 10% early-bird tuition fee discount available to students applying and paying before March 31 2020.
GBP 350: On-campus accommodation for two-weeks in a single room with ensuite facilities and shared kitchen and living space. For off-campus accommodation (10 minute walk) the price is £290 for two-weeks - as above rooms are single, ensuite with shared kitchen and living spaces. Both have 24 hour security.
