This elective module provides an interdisciplinary approach and combines multiple learning methods such as lectures, workshop, discussion, interviewing, group work, fieldwork and student presentation.

Target group

The program is open to anyone who has completed their first year Bachelor degree level education. Applicants whose native tongue is not English, should have a good knowledge of the English language (Level B2 or higher). The Hague Summer School reserves the right to determine if applicants English language level is appropriate.

Course aim

1. The main objective of the course is to make students think critically about concepts such as gender equality, woman rights, men’s sexuality and LGBT rights within the framework of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
